| Hugh, having a nap on
approximately day 4 out of 6 on our way from Bermuda to the British Virgin
Islands. Hugh took care of many hours on watch over night.
|
Scott and Hugh anxiously
awaiting dropping the anchor after finally arriving in Tortola. The
first place to visit was the 'Loose Mongoose' Beach Bar and Restaurant.
We returned many times after that first visit!

|
| We met Michele and Al from
Nova Scotia while in Bermuda and then spent more time with them on in the
BVI's. Good friends forever!
|
A typical shot of a steep
road in Cane Garden Bay, one of our favourite places, if the wind direction
isn't causing too many swells.
|
| We didn't stick around to
see what this caterpillar would turn into!
|
After a nasty haircut in
Yost Van Dyke, Laurie tries to fix it up. A hat did the real trick!
From that point on, Dawn cut her own hair on the bottom step at the back of
the boat!
|
| What a view from the top
of Norman Island, but quite a hike to get it!
|
The young man on 24' Plum
Belly sailed single handed from Maine to Bermuda and then on to the BVI's!
The boat was originally made in Bequia in 1920, an island in the Grenadines famous
for their craftsmanship.

|
| Check out the 70 foot sail
boat and the helicopter on this yacht, "le Grand Bleu" from Russia!
|
This is the 'little' boat
that took the people from 'Grand Bleu' to the beach!
|
| Typical deserted island
near Jost Van Dyke. We swam ashore, and walked through a hiking trail.
|
The big boat is the 'Willy
Thorton', a floating bar and restaurant in Norman's Byte. We stayed
in the Byte for a couple of weeks.
